Sri Eshu

Eshu, the divine messenger and eternal wanderer of the universe, manifest in the physical body as the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve (from the Latin "to wander") carries messages from the gut to the brain. It's the longest and most important cranial nerve as it connects to all organs and controls unconscious bodily functions such as heart rate, digestion, breathing, etc. Energetically, the vagus nerve acts as a bridge between our conscious mind and subconscious mind.
